The Weekly Bystander is taking a little break this February despite all the interesting news generated in the early days of the Trump era. However, I am gathering plenty of material and hope to be back online in March.

Meanwhile, my wife and I are celebrating our 54th wedding anniversary today not in snowbound Connecticut but in the rainy San Francisco Bay Area. We had a beautiful sunny day for the wedding but there had been a large snowfall just two days before.

Hope all goes well for friends and family back East.
